Permissions and Audio Processing
Permissions are relevant when you start the corresponding action. Other tools remain available without unrelated permissions.

Microphone
The microphone supports pitch/rhythm activities and transcription of your singing/playing. Recording starts with the record control and its stream stops on completion or cancellation. The app is not designed for hidden continuous background recording. Revoke permission in device settings. Without permission recording cannot run, while library, planning and suitable file-import tools remain available.
Camera and file selection
Capturing/selecting a score image or opening audio, PDF, MusicXML and backup files is user initiated. System permission prompts vary by operating system and mobile app version. Workspace source does not replace the final Android/iOS package permission declarations; the final package must declare only what it needs. Location, contacts, SMS and background video access are not core workspace functions.
Online processing and separate permission
Device microphone permission is not permission to upload raw audio to a server or third-party AI. If those services are introduced, show provider, data, purpose and retention before transfer and obtain the required separate permission. These server services are disabled in the current local distribution.
